Other than the classroom and laboratory learning, the following are the suggested student-related co-curricular activities that can be undertaken to accelerate the attainment of the various outcomes in this course: Students should conduct the following activities in groups and prepare reports of about 5 pages for each activity, also collect/record physical evidence for their (student's) portfolio which will be useful for their placement interviews:
a) Prepare a report for step by step procedure to be followed for artificial respiration to be
given to the shock-affected persons.
b) Carry out preventive maintenance on any one machine in the lab and prepare a report on it.
c) Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on testing of Induction motor as per IS.
d) Prepare a PowerPoint presentation related to the foundation of transformers.
e) Collect samples of various classes of insulating materials and prepare a chart of them.
